Impromptu Portraits: At The Pumpkin Festival

We went to the Pumpkin Festival held at the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm in Elgin, Texas. Lots of fun. We went on a Hay Ride, decorated a pumpkin with globs of paint, ate some Elgin Sausage, rode a pony, and generally enjoyed a perfectly lovely day in the country. Here are some snapshots from the day.

Studio: Sisters Expecting

Laura is expecting just before Christmas and her sister Sara is expecting any day now! We got together to shoot some pictures of the bellies. We made several beautiful black and white silhouettes and several warmer portraits, capturing each woman individually as well as together. At the end of the session, the husbands got off the couch and joined the fun!
